After the resurrection, Jesus didn’t immediately ascend to heaven—He stayed. For 40 days, He walked among His followers, appearing in ordinary places, speaking peace into fear, and giving clarity to confused hearts. This 5-part series, Now What?, explores those powerful in-between days because resurrection isn’t the end—it’s the beginning of a mission filled with purpose, presence, and hope.
Join us Sunday for part four as we reflect on Jesus’ final words to Peter by the shore. After calling Peter back into purpose, Jesus challenges him to stay focused on his own calling—rather than getting distracted. When Peter looks away and asks about another disciple, Jesus gently brings him back: “You must follow me.” In this moment, we’re reminded that comparison and distraction can pull us off course, but Jesus continually calls us back to a personal, faithful walk with Him. Our journey isn’t about keeping pace with others—it’s about keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus and faithfully following where He leads.
Jesus replied, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? As for you, follow me.” - John 21:22, NLT
