At UNM Anderson we are proud to offer nearly 100 donor-funded scholarships, demonstrating our commitment to student success and educational accessibility. In 2024, we distributed more than $480,000 in scholarships to 280 deserving students. Our scholarships cater to a diverse range of needs and aspirations, from general awards open to all students to specialized scholarships aligned with specific concentrations.

Pitch your idea in a 90-second video for a chance to win from a pool of over $10,000 in cash prizes. Open to all college students from New Mexico institutions enrolled in the Fall 2025 semester.

The Next Chapter in HR


By the end of this session, you will be able to:

Identify practical ways AI is being applied in HR functions.

Evaluate the risks and ethical considerations of AI in the workplace.

Discuss how organizations can balance compliance with inclusion under recent DEI executive orders.

Desert Dev Lab Hackathon

Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 8 & 9 | 600 1st St NW

The Desert Dev Lab Hackathon is right around the corner and registration is still open! The event is free and open to the public, with prizes for the top teams: $500 for first place, $250 for second, and $100 for third.

More than 30 participants have already registered, with a goal of 50 hackers expected for a day of innovation and collaboration.The demos and networking portion are open to everyone, come cheer on the teams and connect with the local tech community.

Learning Lab Hours

Learning Lab hours are being offered this semester both in person and online. All online tutoring will be done via Zoom.
