Adventures in Spirit

Think Like a Tree

This beautiful, cotton wall hanging is brought to us by Ten Thousand Villages. What started as a temporary employment program in Saidpur, Bangladesh grew into Action Bag Handicrafts. In addition to employment, women can enroll in classes to gain literacy, education on nutrition, finance, and women's rights. The hand embroidered tree and inspiring poem combine to make a wonderful piece of wall art.

We are honored to have Unity member, Faith Roelofs, give us a personal guided tour of her brainchild, the Discovery Garden.

Faith has volunteered at the Highlands Center since 1999.

She will be our guide, historian, and naturalist.

We will meet at the Highlands Center 1375 S. Walker Road, Prescott, 86303.

Our annual church picnic at Goldwater Lake is coming up on Sunday, May 7 after ONE church service in the Sanctuary at 10 am.

We're signing up volunteers on Sunday.
