BEAST OF BOZEMAN

AUDITIONS BEGIN MONDAY!

Hey Bozeman performers! Looking for a stage, lights, and an audience?

The Beast of Bozeman is an incredible event celebrating the diversity of talent that exists in the Gallatin Valley.

This performance art competition begins with the very first audition on Monday, January 22-24 and ends with the show of all shows and the crowning of The Beast of Bozeman on Saturday, March 2. The 15-finalists will be selected by judges after auditions, who will then go on to vie for the audience vote, cash, prizes, and the title of the BEAST!

REGISTRATION OPEN! Art camps fill up quick, so head over and get your littles signed up for a week or two (or three) of creatively-amped, brightly colored, sunshine-filled fun!

RAD METALS STUDIO CLASSES

Teaching our Introductory to Metals classes are local metalsmith talents, Beth Aimee and Kaleigh Jones. These two powerhouses will bring incredible enthusiasm to our classroom, as well as years of experience and know-how.

Our Introductory classes will provide a solid foundation in metalsmithing, and give you confidence to expand your knowledge base to explore further!

Classes times with limited openings:

Thursday (beginning Jan. 25): 6:30-8:30pm

Friday (beginning Jan. 26): 9:30-11:30am

Artist Talks is an opportunity to learn about the artist, from the artist in a format more akin to a friend circle than a presentation. Join us, as we move through the galleries with each artist and glean a behind-the-scenes perspective into their world and their art.

Have a teen aged 13-16 that loves to be outside and is great with kids? 2024 marks the 9th year of our Youth Internship Program; a wonderful opportunity to develop leadership, teamwork, and initiative skills. We work hard, have a ton of fun, and all interns selected receive cash scholarships. Apply today!

BOZEMAN DOC SERIES:

SMOKE SAUNA SISTERHOOD

Smoke Sauna Sisterhood world-premiered at last year's Sundance Film Festival where it won the Directing Award in the World Cinema Documentary category. It also recently won the Best Documentary prize at the European Film Awards.

The smoke sauna tradition known as “savvusanna kombõ” is one of connecting family and friends to cleanse body and soul inside a place of peace and contemplation. Tucked in a lush green forest in southern Estonia, a group of women gather in the safe darkness of a smoke sauna to share their innermost thoughts and secrets. Enveloped by a warm, dense heat, they bare all to expel fears and shame trapped in their bodies and regain their strength.

FLY FISHING FILM TOUR

The 18th annual Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) is back on the road January 2024 with a top notch selection of short films that are sure to get you fired up for the season ahead.

This year there will be films that take you into the science of the Costa Marlin Project, to the deep depths of the jungle for the massive Peacock Bass, and will have a Steelhead story with characters as rare as the fish itself + many, many more.
