summermovieSummer Movie Survey Deadline Extended
A NEW, FREE Special Event: Throwback Thursdays Movie Series

Due to the popularity of the Summer Movies in the Park series, the Burlingame Parks and Recreation Department is expanding the event.  On select Thursdays, starting this Fall 2015, we will be showing movies on our beautiful 30 foot inflatable screen (A BIG thanks to the Burlingame Mother's Club for the donation!). Our plan is to make this series a road show; the movies will be shown at various parks around Burlingame. The current Summer Movies Series will still be family friendly, however, if you need a good date night, or an evening out with friends, the Throwback Thursdays series will be your chance to have a fun night out in Burlingame, enjoying some classic movies.

In order to play movies that Burlingame wants to see...we hope you will take 2 minutes to fill out our survey!  We are open for suggestions as well!
The deadline to respond to this survey has been EXTENDED, please respond by next Monday, June 1st.

Thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing from you!

CounterhoursCity Planning Division Counter Hours
Change to Wednesday public counter hours

Beginning next week, the Planning Division public counter will be closed from noon to 5 p.m. every Wednesday. Normal public counter hours (8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) will remain in place for all other days of the week.  Members of the public may continue to make appointments with specific staff members on Wednesday afternoons depending upon staff availability. Building Division public counter hours will remain unchanged.

Given the increased workload of the Planning Division during the past year, this half-day closure will allow staff to focus on application processing and plan reviews more efficiently, and will also facilitate preparation of staff reports for Planning Commission and Council items.
