WinterWinter Reading Program
For all ages!

Keep reading over your winter break and enter raffles for a chance to win fabulous prizes at the Library.  Raffle prizes include gift cards to Peet's Coffee, Books, Inc., and Five Little Monkeys, Visa gift cards and movie passes. 
 
Pick up a Winter Reading log at the Burlingame Library and finish 15 days of reading by January 10, 2016. Mark a snowflake for each day you read and you get a raffle ticket for each five days of reading. The program is open to all ages - children, teens, and adults!  One log per reader.  For more information, call the Children's Desk at (650) 558-7400, ext. 3.

ParentsParents' Night Out
Hosted by Burlingame's Youth Advisory Committee

On Monday, December 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Burlingame's Youth Advisory Committee will be hosting our first ever Elves Workshop. This event will be an opportunity for a "Parents Night Out" this holiday season. Parents can register their child (K-5th grade) by following this link . caltrainCaltrain Bus Bridge
This Saturday between Burlingame and Hayward Park Caltrain Stations

On Saturday, December 19, 2015, Caltrain will operate a bus bridge between the Burlingame Caltrain Station and Hayward Park Caltrain Station in order to replace an old rail bridge. The bus bridge will be provided by SamTrams buses.  In order to accommodate Caltrain's bus bridge at the Burlingame Station, the South Lane and the West Lane will used as a bus pick up and drop off zone and vehicular traffic will be limited to SamTrans buses only. Caltrain will have ambassadors at the impacted stations to assist and direct customers to the bus bridge.  For more information, please visit Caltrain's website at www.caltrain.com/busbridge.

CCFDThe CCFD Toy Drive is On
Donate gifts to local children

The Central County Fire Department has been working with local merchants to collect toys for its CCFD Toy Drive.  Barrels will be placed in various locations throughout Burlingame, Hillsborough, and Millbrae where the public can drop off new, unwrapped toys.  Click here for a complete list of local drop off locations.

Gala Holiday Concert

Violist Geraldine Walther will be performing with the Altius Quartet.  Proceeds from the concert will benefit Kohl for Kids programs that serve more than 5,500 youths annually. Buy tickets here.
