Have you tried accessBurlingame yet?

Since its launch six months ago, nearly 300 users have loaded the accessBurlingame app to their mobile phones and 125 issues have been reported to the City.  Of these issues, over 55% related parking, traffic, sidewalks and streets.  Other issues pertained to lights, flooding, trees, curbs and sewers.

accessBurlingame is a program that enables residents, businesses and visitors to quickly access non-emergency City services through an online and mobile interface.  In addition to enabling quick reporting of quality-of-life issues and service requests, users may click on "widgets" to quickly access City information and services available on the City's website.
Users do not need a mobile phone to use accessBurlingame, however! It also accessible through the City's website and Facebook page

Help City win funding for local sustainability efforts

Burlingame is one of 22 cities in California participating in the CoolCalifornia Challenge, in which cities are competing to see which one can lower its carbon footprint the most. We need everyone's help to give Burlingame a shot.

Visit CAchallenge.org and register.  Begin logging your vehicle mileage, natural gas/electricity consumption and other energy/water saving measures to earn points for Burlingame.

At the end of the Challenge, the city with the most points will be crowned "Coolest California City." Cities will earn a share of the $150,000 fund to enhance local sustainability efforts, so be sure to do your part to help lead Burlingame to victory.

Please sign up today and remember, although one city prevails, when we all come together to save water and energy, everyone wins!
