Build Back Better

America’s rural workforce is critical to the success of the nation’s economy,” Maxson said.

Close More Sales

I train a lot of retail stores how to sell using a fairly detailed process. You can’t just wing it. If you're wondering how to get more out of your store, a movie analogy is a good way to understand the sales process. Imagine walking into a movie theater to see "The Wizard of Oz" for the very first time, and you are 20 minutes late.
You’d wonder…
What’s a munchkin?
Who’s the sister who died?
Why are they going to OZ?
You could care less about Dorothy.
If you miss the inciting incident that hooks you into the story, you will not want to spend a couple of hours with the characters.

Small Businesses 'Hopeful'
The Q2 2021 MetLife and U.S. Chamber of Commerce Small Business Index (SBI) finds that as more Americans receive the COVID-19 vaccine, states lift restrictions, and businesses continue to reopen, a majority (65%) of small business owners are more optimistic that the worst of the pandemic is over. According to the poll taken April 21 – May 6, the dominant emotion small business owners are feeling about their current operating strategy is “hopeful” (44%). Thirty-one percent say they are “comfortable” and 24% say they are “concerned,” rounding out the top three current feelings.

COVID UPDATES COLORADO
Report Any 'Job Refusal'
As you begin to reopen your business and hire employees, there may be instances when a job applicant either turns down your offer of work or applies for a job but fails to follow through with next steps to accept an offer of work. If this happens and you believe the individual is receiving unemployment benefits, you can report this refusal to us on our website. The Unemployment Insurance Division implemented new rules in May 2021 related to refusals to accept offers of work. If an individual receiving unemployment benefits fails to show up for an interview, pre-employment testing, or the first day of work without reasonable justification, they could be denied future benefits. The new rule also allows for a disqualification from benefits if claimants provide false or incorrect information during the course of the interview that would result in the applicant to be considered unqualified for the job or make it impossible to contact the applicant with a job offer. . . . .. .. .. . ..... .... .. . ..... .... .. . ..... .. .. . ..... .... The American Rescue Plan Act established the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) to provide funding to help restaurants and other eligible businesses keep their doors open. This program will provide rest- aurants with funding equal to their pandemic-related revenue loss up to $10 million per business and no more than $5 million per physical location. Recipients are not required to repay the funding as long as funds are used for eligible uses no later than March 11, 2023. . .. .. . ..... ........SBA Revitalization Fund
