...Throughout their years owning and operating the business, there have been several remodels and additions. H-R Tire Co’s look has changed but their customer service hasn't.

It's time for Story Time! Story Times for Summer 2023 will be: Baby Time for babies birth to 24 months will be on Tuesdays from 9:30-10:00 a.m. Little Readers is for kids ages 2-5 years old and is on either on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. OR Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. Both sessions of Little Readers are the same each week-please choose one. June 6-7 will be the first week of Story Times and will continue through the end of July. If you have any questions, please call the library at 970-522-2023.

The City of Sterling will be fogging mosquitoes using a material known as BIOMIST 3+15 ULV, E.P.A. registration number 8329-33. Fogging will be each week approximately 10 p.m., on

Thursdays through August 2023.

Sponsored by Mega Music, the City of Sterling and numerous great sponsors the Fourth of July Fireworks and Fireworks Jam will be celebrated on Sun., July 30. Fireworks will begin at dusk at the Pioneer Park softball diamonds following an afternoon of fun in the Home Depot parking lot. During the FREE concert, In The Groove will be opening followed by the Hillbilly Demons centerstage. There will be a Free Bounce House for the kids, a mechanical bull, $5 Horse & Wagon Rides around Pioneer Park., an ice cream truck and the Tipsy Cow Food Wagon will be there along with a few vendors doing Snow Cones, Cotton Candy and light up toys. Buffalo Bill will be there for pictures! 

.July 30 Celebration.

The Sterling Police Department will be hosting it's 8th Annual Community Appreciation Day on Aug. 1 from 5-7 p..m at Prairie Park. Come out and meet your Sterling Police Department team and enjoy free hot dogs, chips and drinks before heading over to the Logan County Fair. There will be squad cars and other equipment out for viewing as well as some demonstrations. K9 Vader will be on hand to show what he does besta. There will alsol be bike registrations as well as child ID kits available. Be sure to stop by and talk with our Explorers if you have children or know a child who would like to be an officer one day.

When you see the small blue signs throughout the museum, all you have to do is either download the free app and or call the number and follow the directions.

Contestants will be judged on Horsemanship, interview skills, public speaking and appearance during the Miss Rodeo Logan County Contest which will be held at the Logan County Fairgrounds starting at 930 a.m. The event is open to the public.
