Queen Anne Sunday at Farnham has been changed to June 17th from June 24th.
For those of you who don't usually worship with us, on Queen Anne Sunday, we use the silver flagons, chalice and paten that were gifts of a fund established by Queen Anne (reign 1702-1714) to help the new colonial-era churches. We also use the verbiage from the the Holy Communion service from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.
(I will admit to being a little embarrassed when I first heard about "Queen Anne Sunday," as everyone assumed that I knew what it was. As a life-long Episcopalian, I had never heard of "Queen Anne Sunday"and thought I'd missed something like a saint's day.
