Update: Landscaping at All Saints
Subject: Step into Our Future: Help Us Build a Water-Wise Sanctuary 🌿
Dear All Saints Family,
We have an important announcement! Our church has officially taken a bold step toward stewardship and environmental care.
Our upcoming landscape renovation project has been approved by the Utah Water Savers program as well as the Vestry! We are partnering with Andrea Washburn Landscaping to transform 7,000 square feet of high-water grass into a beautiful, drought-tolerant sanctuary.
What is changing?
- A Labyrinth: We are replacing lawn with a reflective prayer labyrinth featuring natural chat paths and fragrant, low-water thyme.
- Water-Wise Planting: We are adding vibrant perennial flowers (making up over 50% of the area) while safely preserving our beautiful, mature shade trees.
- Slashing Our Water Bill: This project will permanently lower our church's water footprint, honoring our commitment to care for Utah's natural resources.
How you can help:
To bring this vision to life and reach our fundraising goals,
we invite you to "Sponsor a Step" on our new path.
- $50 - sponsors a vibrant perennial flower bed.
- $100 - funds a section of the aromatic thyme pathways or a memorial brick
- $250 - helps build the labyrinth circuits and walking paths.
- $500 - The Living Canopy – Helps fund the specialized irrigation modifications needed to keep mature shade trees healthy while transitioning away from grass.
- $1000- The Labyrinth Respite- Sponsors a bench for a resting place nearby.
- $2000 – The Stewardship Circle - Sponsors an entire quadrant (approx. 1,750 sq. ft.) of the drought-tolerant perennial transformation
- $3000 - The Eco-Legacy Sponsor - Directly offsets the master landscaping oversite and labor costs provided by Andrea Washburn Landscaping.
- $$$$ - Give to the Landscaping fund as every gift matters and helps save conserve water
You can give through Venmo or Zelle or simply write a check to All Saints; memo: landscaping. Please be sure to include what you are donating for, either in the memo or by sending an email to Marlin. Thank you!
Thank you for your generosity and for helping us plant the seeds for a sustainable future. We anticipate it will take around $60,000 to complete this project, which breaks ground on Sept 1st.
Blessings,
Betsy Blee, Project team lead, Annie Charat, Team member
Deacon Deanna Anderson, Team member, Kim Stark, Team member

Sandwich Making in June:
All Saints is in charge of Sandwich Making June 21st: (thank you Pawan & Anita Sharma for supplies) We need YOUR help!
June is the next month that All Saints is responsible for performing the logistics and prep work for the group sandwich making effort on Sunday, June 21. We need some help with the upfront activities necessary prior to the actual event itself. Some specific help that is needed:
1. Bread pickup from Dunford Bakers. This is usually done on the Friday before, , so Friday June 19. If pickup on a Friday is an obstacle we can schedule with Dunford for the Thursday prior provided we give notice to Dunford.
2. Table Setup. This involves getting the long tables out and covered with butcher block paper, getting the boxes and sandwich bags on the table. This activity is usually performed on the Friday before the main event (so Friday June 19). Some folks like to do this on Saturday, whichever works.
3. Food Prep. This involves unwrapping the meat and cheese, plating and covering. This activity is usually performed on the Friday before (so Friday June 19) Some folks will often take on this activity with the Table Setup as a combined activity.
Please consider volunteering for one of these activities; this is one of the important outreach ministries of All Saints and the First Congregational Church.. Please contact Ian who can provide more detailed information should you need it. Jane Edwards has already graciously agreed to deliver the sandwiches in the afternoon of June 21.
| | | Adopt a Project Fundraiser: Thank you to all who have given! We collect more than $4k to be used for specific projects that helps All Saints with Mission & Ministry! | | | |
Another way to give to All Saints
You can also help give to the church (kitchen and social) by going to Amazon and ordering from the Wish List (see QR Code)
Every bit helps offset our costs to be Church!
thank you!
