It's this Sunday - You are invited to our Home for Christmas Advent Festival this Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. It's the perfect time to bring family and friends. Make reservations at the signup table in Ross Hall this morning.

Choir Cantata - Plan to be here when our wonderful Sanctuary Choir presents a Christmas cantata on Sunday, December 11, at the 9:30 a.m. worship service. It will feature a chamber orchestra, soloists and narrators led by music director Warren Dennis.

Retiree Reception - A reception honoring three staff members who are retiring will be held Sunday, December 18, in Ross Hall after the 9:30 a.m. worship service. Denny Bartlow, building superintendent; David Buck, resident custodian; and Diana Spratt, Christian education director, plan to retire at the end of the year. Cake and goodies will be served compliments of our Staff Parish Relations Committee. A box for each retiree will be available if individuals or groups wish to bring cards or gifts. Come help us give thanks for their years of work and service.

New Member Meeting - There will be a meeting for those who would like to join the church right after worship on Sunday, December 18. Join Rev. Camille in the church office.

Sunday Study - A three-week Advent study begins today at 10:45 a.m. in Baker Center. The class is called Rejoice! Reflections on Four Seasonal Hymns and centers on much-loved Christmas carols. Facilitators are Tom & Diana Spratt.

Cookie Walk - Get your Christmas goodies at our 40th Annual Holiday Cookie Walk scheduled for Saturday, December 10, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Ross Hall. Thousands of cookies are needed for the sale, so keep on baking! Cookies may be made early, frozen and stored in the church freezer. (Mark your freezer containers: For Cookie Walk Only.) Plan to drop off cookies in Ross Hall on Friday, December 9, from 9 a.m. to noon or bring them on Saturday morning, December 10.  Proceeds will benefit local missions.  Contacts are Carmina Loredo, carminaloredo@gmail.com or 480-215-3893, and Theresa Green, dtv@cox.net or 602-206-8220.

Tribute Cards - Holiday Tribute Cards from United Methodist Outreach Ministry's New Day Center will be available through Christmas Sunday. Gift card purchase provides shelter for homeless families in the Phoenix area.

Shower Party - A Christmas celebration for our homeless guests at the Shower Ministry is set for Friday, December 23, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Baker Center. If you can help with donations of cookies or treats or with music, storytelling or group games for the party, please contact Pastor Rosemary Anderson.
