In-person Worship Resumes Sunday!

Welcome back to in-person worship! The safety of church members continues to be primary when considering the method and time for us to return to worship. We will ask you to wear a mask and practice social distancing when you arrive. If you forget your mask we will have one available for you. We are looking forward to being together again.

Worship services will continue to be live-streamed on our YouTube channel at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. If you miss the live stream, you can view the published video on YouTube and our website. Subscribe to St. Luke's YouTube channel to be notified of live streaming events and new video postings as they become available.
St. Luke's to Host Community Events

IICF Food Drive - Friday, March 26, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at St. Luke's
To kick off 2021, the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation Southeast is hosting a regional food drive to support local organizations addressing food insecurity. The collection will benefit Christian Community Service Center to fill the shelves of their two food pantries. St. Luke's will be one of four collection sites in the Houston area. Wear a mask and stay in your car. Volunteers will unload your donations of non-perishable food items. Go to Southeast Fill the Truck for more information or call Phoebe Measells at 713.532.3095.

St. Luke's Shred Day - Saturday, March 27, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Texas Security Shredding will be on site to accept your paper and small electronics. No large TV’s or appliances. We are asking for a donation of $10 and collecting non- perishable food for Christian Community Service Center.
Volunteers are needed to collect donations, direct cars in the parking lot, and assist people with unloading their items. Call the church office (713.667.6531) or email Mary Ann at mawhite@stlukespres.org if you can volunteer some time.

Drive-by Easter Fun - Saturday, April 3, 11:00 a.m.
The Easter Bunny will be here for a drive-by with some treats!
Montrose Street Reach
St. Luke's now providing desserts monthly!
Next Opportunity to serve is April 21

On the third Wednesday of each month Montrose Street Reach provides a meal and a message of hope to the homeless in our community. St. Luke's normally provides desserts every other month but we recently received a request to provide our desserts monthly for the remainder of 2021. So we have stepped up our game to support this compassionate ministry program providing care and nurture to the homeless. Please consider baking your delicious cookies/brownies to help us meet this new monthly commitment. Call Jeanne Leach, 713.409.0997, or the church office, 713.667.6531, if you have any questions.

Gracious God, in order that the children of earth might discern good from evil you sent your Son to be the light of the world. As Christ shines upon us, may we learn what pleases you, and live in all truth and goodness; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
