Lucky Eighth Graders!
SBJA's very lucky eighth graders spent three days and two nights in Catalina last week at the annual Eighth Grade Science Camp with Mrs. Diane Voigt. Here are some photos to give an idea of what beautiful and adventurous kids we have:
Everyone is invited TONIGHT
Everyone is invited to attend a Plant Based Cooking School that will be conducted on four Tuesday evenings, October 2, 9, 16 and 23, from 7:00-9:00 p.m . at the South Bay Adventist Church , 401 S. Prospect Ave., Redondo Beach (1 block south of Torrance Blvd). 
Come learn about the benefits of a plant based diet that will add longevity, vitality and health to your life.  This cooking school will focus on:

  • The role food plays in stopping, reversing and curing heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity and many other diseases.
  • Preparing nutritious, delicious cuisine with whole foods and no animal products.
There will be lectures, cooking demonstrations, food tasting, door prizes and recipes each night.
