Meet our new accountant
There's a new face at SBJA: Mr. Paul Marcondes . He is taking over accountant responsibilities from Mr. Denny Docil who moved to Loma Linda University several months ago. Mr. Docil was working hard to keep up two jobs (he was wonderful not to leave our finance office unmanned!), so he was relieved when Mr. Marcondes agreed to take over. Mr. Marcondes will be on campus part-time, but will be available to meet with you by appointment. Please welcome him when you see him on campus!
Photos will be taken on Friday
Chapel uniform, combed hair, brushed teeth, stand tall, say "cheese!" This Friday is the day for Fall Photos which will be your child's image in the 2018-2019 yearbook. Send the order form in by Friday, and we'll record our fantastic SBJA students.

The Magazine Sale is under way
Please help our students reach their magazine sale goals -- all funds go directly to the classrooms. A huge thank you to Mrs. Cheri Dawson who took on being the sponsor of this project once again (sometimes you just don't get out of things you're so good at!). She can use all the help she can get so consider volunteering to assist.

Thank you!
A huge round of applause for HSA President Mrs. Jeremie Manipon and all her assistants for offering popcorn treats to the attendees at Open House last week. We hope when you hear an invitation to help the HSA you'll remember those four magic words: "I'll be glad to!"
Parents, help your student out
A good night's rest and a good breakfast will be the parent's responsibility for Achievement Test Week. The rest is your student's responsibility -- to show what they have learned so far in their education journey. Third through eighth graders will spend a significant amount of time testing next week, so PLEASE be sure they come to school bright and ready and on time. An absence means their test will not be complete -- it's important that the student is at school on time.
