The Menu includes eggs (cooked to order), bacon, sausage, toast, biscuits & sausage gravy, pancakes, and French toast. Adults ($10); ages 6-12 ($5); 5 and under: free pancakes. Credit cards accepted. Calves, Pigs, And Goats, Oh My!
Come interact with our calves, pigs, and goats! You'll have the chance to walk the calf as well as the pet pigs, and you'll get to play with the baby goats! This event is free and you don't need a reservation. It starts every Saturday and Sunday at 9:45 AM. Can't wait to see you there!

Free Nature Walk - with Jenn & Daniel Mintz of "In True Nature".
- discovering how our natural world works here on our 1100 acres.
Saturdays 11 AM -12:15 AM - on the Main Lodge front Porch - open to all comers.
With social distancing.
After breakfast -8 to 10 AM or before lunch 12-2PM.
Join guides, Jenn & Daniel Mintz, for a nature walk exploring the Graves Mountain property. FREE learning experience--all are welcome! On this stroll through the grounds we will experience everything from the banks of the Rose River to the tops of trees.
If weather not suitable, then we do an inside by the fire discovery & learning.
Take in the sights, smells, and sounds of nature while learning about what’s happening to the plants and critters. Around us as the seasons transition.
Our guides from In True Nature will share a bit of the natural and human history of this special part of Appalachian foothills and will encourage you to discover the beauty in both the everlasting and the critical changes that surround us.
Together we will explore the plant medicines that have been used for generations, the foods provided to people and wildlife, and the other opportunities that Mother Nature provides.

Not a "Festival Performance" – Rather a Community of Bluegrass Pickers
Vince May, the volunteer jams organizer says, “Please keep in mind that these are not music festivals with paid performers, rather these are informal community “jams” with both dedicated and learning Bluegrass pickers coming together for weekends of music, fun and a beverage or three.”
Pickers are free-form in the Campground. As always.
The camp ground sits in the lee of the mountains of the Blue Ridge, 11 miles west of Madison, VA, surrounded by 1100 acres of farm with animals, horses, meadow, forest and home style southern cooking at the Lodge.

The Milky Way and You
You live in a galaxy called the Milky Way. Learn about your home among the galaxies and see it in the glorious night skies of Crescere. August is the best month in the Northern Hemisphere to see the Milky Way.
Sky Guy Greg Redfern's presentation will be followed by a visual orientation of the sky above and close-up views from his Unistellar telescope on our Star Theater!
BYO blanket, chairs, pillows, binoculars, telescope and/or red flashlight if you have it! Light refreshments available for purchase around the campfire.
This event is weather-dependent. Please check www.crescerefarm.com for cancellations due to severe weather.
Dress warmly. Farm evenings can be cool. Remember your bug repellent!
Event appropriate for ages 8 and up.
No pets please, with the exception of service animals.

Art @ The Vineyard with Wendy Wharton July - August 2022
Born and raised in Rappahannock County, Wendy Wharton specializes in fluid art. She relishes the process of being both the creator and also the instrument through which the most beautiful forms come to life in her work. Shying away from traditional brushes, she uses water, fire, gravity and airflow as tools to move paint on canvas, achieving unique effects. Her work will be on display and for sale in the tasting room until the end of August.

FARM TO TABLE HARVEST DINNER

Experience a delectable and locally sourced, four course meal prepared by Madison County’s own Brad Jarvis. Join us under the tent Sunday evening for DuCard’s Farm to Table Harvest dinner provided by local producers – which includes some of our very own Wine Club members!
Guests will begin the evening with passed hors d’oeuvres and a complementary glass of wine. Wine with dinner will be available for purchase by the bottle and/or glass and our staff will be happy to provide pairing recommendations.
Wine Club members will receive complementary wine by the glass all evening.
The cost of the dinner is $75/person plus a 20% service charge. Seating is limited to 100 people. Proceeds from the evening will be donated to local farming organizations including 4-H. Reservations are required.
