Resume Writing Workshop

We are going to be working on resume writing with the residents at Miami Rescue Mission's Overtown location. This will be our third time working with them and it is such a rewarding experience. We need 10 volunteers to come help work with 9 of their residents as they prepare to re-enter the workforce. Volunteer to Help - Hurricane Clean-Up
Church of the Isles, Indian Rocks Beach, FL
Sunday, Nov 10 - Monday, Nov 11
Join us as we work alongside Church of Isles members as they begin the long road of cleaning up their church and thrift shop damaged from hurricanes Helene and Milton.
Thanks to the Cobb Family Plymouth Emergency Response Fund (ERF), we’re pleased to announce this trip and opportunity for hands-on help to a sister UCC church in need.
Trip Details:
Depart in the afternoon, Sunday, Nov. 10, to Tampa, where our team will lodge. On Monday, Nov. 11, we’ll work throughout the day and return home later that night.

Adult Mission Trip: Guatemala
February 20 - 26, 2025
It’s an exciting time for Plymouth! We’re looking for adults to join us on a mission trip to Guatemala to work with “Hug It Forward” to build a school. We’ll work alongside the organization and the community to build relationships and learn about their culture and beauty. The trip will include three days of work, two days of cultural sightseeing and two days of travel. The cost of $1500 per adult includes: airfare, transportation, hotel lodging, all meals, project work, learning experiences and sightseeing. Please register using the QR code. Youth Mission Trip: Appalachia
June 8 - 12, 2025
The youth have voted!! We’re headed to work with “Appalachia Service Projects” to do building work in the Appalachian Mountains. This trip is open to all current 8-12 grade youth and parents. We are especially grateful to be focusing on this area of the country after the effects of Hurricane Helene. The cost will be between $500-900 per participant depending on fundraising. The cost includes: airfare, transportation, lodging, work project, meals and more. Once youth are registered, we’ll meet to begin fundraising efforts. On Sunday, November 3, in Nurturing Faith, we’ll hear the story of “Abigail” based on 1 Samuel 25:1-35. This story teaches us that we can creatively solve conflict.
On Sunday, November 10, in Nurturing Faith, we’ll hear the story of “King David” based on 2 Samuel 5:1-5; 8:15-9:13. This story teaches us that we can lead with justice and compassion and that we can be kind.

Alcoholics Anonymous meetings have been held at Plymouth continuously since 1965. There are in person meetings on campus Monday through Wednesday in the Choir Room, and Thursday in Davis Hall.
