Blanket Drive for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital | |
Join Ava Crowley and our youth in supporting cancer patients this September with the gift of a warm blanket.
“I volunteered at NCH Fux Family Center this past summer. There I helped patients and families feel better from treatment with games, books, comfort, we even helped with laundry. I would like to give blankets to these patients to help them feel as comfortable as possible while they are in the hospital. Will you join me and donate a blanket to a cancer patient in September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month?" ~Ava Crowley.
Drop them off anytime through Sept 24. You can use the Wish List to order on Amazon or it can be any new, lightweight blanket. Thank you for your support!

Giving to Maui through the
Cobb Family Plymouth Emergency Response Fund
| |
Most of us have seen video of the devastation created by wildfires in Lahaina, Maui, in Hawaii. Waiola Church (which means “living water” in Hawaiian), was destroyed by the fires.
Plymouth’s Cobb Family Emergency Response Fund is sending a $5,000 gift to the UCC, to Waiola Church. In addition, we’ll give up to $10,000 as a match for Plymouth member donations.
Please consider making a donation to the Cobb Family Emergency Response Fund to help the congregation of Waiola after these devastating fires.

After a hurricane, the lights may be out but we can still share the power of a friendly face at the door. Plymouth Hurricane Helpers volunteer to check on members who live near to them.

Please consider serving as a Plymouth Hurricane Helper in your neighborhood. If you want to more about how to help, email moira@plymouthmiami.org.
