Hackensack Shelter Dinner

Please help the Social Action Committee feed 150 people in our community through the Hackensack shelter dinner program on Thursday, December 22nd 2022 through any of the following ways:

  • Send a monetary donation made out to FLJC/CBI with "Hackensack Dinner 12/22/22" on the memo line. (We buy the main meal from a local caterer/restaurant.)

  • Sign up to help serve/prepare the dinners at the Hackensack shelter.

Supplies and food can be brought to FLJC/CBI parking lot on December 22 from 1:30pm to 2:15pm. If you need to drop off earlier, reach out to Mark Meisel or the Center office.

Family Promise runs this program 365 days a year, at their Walk-in-Dinner Program, they are on target to serve a record 53,000 meals this year. If the trend of the number of meals continues to increase as it has over the past months, they could reach 60,000 meals in 2023! See flyer here.
