Can you believe we have already facilitated over 630 adoptions so far this year? It's such a joy to see so many deserving animals find their loving homes but also heart-wrenching for those who have been patiently waiting without any promise... 💔

Today we are calling out to you, our supporters and animal advocates to help a few of our longer-term animals in care find "the one(s)" before another month goes by with little to no interest... Our hearts can't take it... Please help us shed some light on a few of our patient pets seeking the love and commitment of a forever home!

Phantom ✨ 240+ Days in Care

Phantom is one crazy bunny whose favorite thing to do is climb, climb, climb. ⛰️ Imagine the shock when foster mom went into his room to find that he had scaled the boxes and perched himself up on the windowsill. Afraid he wouldn’t be able to get down, foster mom assisted him to the floor. This wild little rascal was having none of it, and back up he went, this time onto the table! Talk about an adrenaline junky! 🐇⚡️

When not practicing his mountaineering skills, this guy can be found hanging out doing binkies in his room and snacking on hay. Quick to say hello to his favourite humans, Phantom loves getting pets and will occasionally snuggle on a lap. Link ✨ 185+ Days in Care

As the summer of 2021 was coming to an end we received a call about a dog who had suffered a great deal prior to being taken in by his guardian angel. ❤️‍🩹 Link had just enough strength left to break free from a chain and was found roaming alone in a rural community. Although he managed to escape from where he was initially held, the bone-chilling reminder had already embedded itself... Link needed surgery to remove the chain wrapped tightly around his neck! 💔

It's been several months since the day Link was rescued from a tortured past. He's recovered remarkably, however, there are things from his past that still haunt him to this day. Due to this, Link needs a home without any other dogs or cats. He's absolutely lovely with his people and would do great in a home with those aged 15+. 👣 Link just celebrated his 2nd Birthday — can you guess what his birthday wish was? A FOREVER HOME!
