As we enter a new decade of service to our Lord and His Church, I want to share with you three areas that we, your Association of Churches will be giving focus to in 2020 in keeping with our Mission Statement, adopted at our 2019 Annual Meeting.

“SMBAC strengthens churches to start churches and mobilize laity in partnership to ignite a spiritual awakening.”

  • $400 will provide lunch during Bible Study for 80 plus students at Georgia State Newton’s Baptist Collegiate Ministry
  • $50 will provide breakfast for students in a school FCA huddle
  • $100 provides for a meeting of one of our 8 Pastor Roundtables resourcing Pastors
  • $500 will scholarship a Church Planter to the Exponential Church Planting Conference in Orlando in 2020
  • $300 will provide Bibles for distribution in a language church plant

Church Planting Journey

The cost will be $89 for the church planter and $49 for team members. All training materials and meals are provided.
Church Planting Journey (CPJ) is a workshop that prepares church planters and their teams to effectively reach their communities for Christ and develop churches that are strong and reproducing. Church Planters with their team members can expect to develop strategic plans for the early years of development of the church.
Return to Me! A new book by Claude King is an opportunity to ignite a spiritual awakening in our area! I have limited copies of this book being shipped to our Association of Churches for our Pastor’s and staff. Contact our office today or email Selina at to reserve a copy for yourself if you are truly interested in leading this type of effort in your church. I would like as many churches as possible to call the people of God to return to Him!
