Please join us for our August meeting featuring guest speaker, Trent England.  Mr. England will speak about "Three Assaults on our Constitution."

We the people are the ultimate defenders of our Constitution. It is up to us. Trent England, director of the Center for Constitutional Freedom at the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs and a contributor to The Heritage Guide to the Constitution, will talk about three of the latest assaults on our Constitution and what you can do about them. These include an attempt to rewrite the First Amendment, to manipulate presidential elections, and to expand even more the power of D.C. bureaucrats.

Mr. England recently moved from Seattle to join the staff at OCPA, so let's be sure to give him a warm Oklahoma welcome!  In the meantime, please enjoy reading some of Trent's wonderful work:  Episode 1. The Course of Human Events: The Path to Independence. 

Remember, this will be the first meeting at our NEW VENUE:  Mardel's, located at 4848 N. W. Expressway between N. Meridian and N. MacArthur.  The meeting room is located on the south wall.

The 2014 Defending the American Dream Summit is right around the corner! This year, the event is being held at the beautiful Omni Hotel in sunny Dallas, Texas over Labor Day weekend on Friday, August 29th and Saturday, August 30th.

 

Get your ticket today to secure your spot at the Summit. You'll hear from elected officials and business leaders who are leading the charge against Big Government, and you'll get to meet and network with fellow activists who want to help you make a positive impact in your community!

 

Get your transportation plans and hotel accommodations booked at the same time by traveling on one of the AFP Driving to the Dream bus packages! Hop on the bus in Tulsa or Oklahoma City and enjoy the trip with good company all the way to the Omni Hotel in Dallas, Texas!  

 

The bus will be arriving in Dallas on Friday morning and returning to Oklahoma on Saturday night.  The package includes: the bus ride to Dallas, a private or shared hotel room (depending on your preference) on Friday night, lunch on Friday and Saturday, and your conference pass. In a shared room, feel free to choose your own roommate; if not, one will be assigned of same gender and similar age.
