Partners in Independence Program Seeks Mentors & Mentees
The Partners in Independence Program is WAIM’s adult peer mentoring program. We are seeking both volunteer mentors and learning partners! Mentors support the self-identified goals of their learning partners. Goals might include securing employment, improving budgeting skills, getting a GED, improving self-care, or starting a small business. Within the structured framework of the program, learning partners progress towards greater economic and personal stability. Both mentor and learning partner are uniquely enriched by this learning partnership.
If you would like to be a mentor or a learning partner, please contact the program manager, Merle Potchinsky, at 860-456-7270 x106 or hsmanager@waimct.org.
