(December 1, 2021) The Rochester City School District is proud to announce that three of its students are performing in this year’s production of A Christmas Carol at Geva Theatre in Rochester.
Genesis Arrindell is a 7th grade vocal major at School of the Arts, and she is playing the roles of Fan and Miss Fezziwig. Music and singing have been her passion from an early age. She loves performing songs that are positive and cheerful. Gospel and hip-hop songs are some of her favorite styles.
Joey Gregoire is an 8th grade dance major at School of the Arts, and he is playing the roles of Young Ebenezer and Peter Cratchit. He is returning to Geva after having played Boy Cratchit and Ignorance in 2018. Joey has been seen on several local stages, in regional and national commercials, as well as an episode of Evil Lives Here on cable television. He also was in the fall film production of House of Wax at School of the Arts.
Thomas McMillion is a 7th grade student at Roberto Clemente School No. 8, and he is playing the roles of Young Ebenezer and Peter Cratchit. This is his Geva Theatre debut, and he has performed in the Rochester Broadway Theatre League’s production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Thomas has also performed in several school productions, including The Lion King, 101 Dalmatians, and Descendants 1.

A Christmas Carol is running now through December 24, 2021 at Geva Theatre.
