We have just been notified by the conference mission team that we will be collecting school backpacks for Liberia again in June 2020. This news comes just in time for you to take advantage of those Back to School sales!

Holston Conference UMW Social Action Day
Saturday, August 10 at Gray UMC
Gray United Methodist Church will host the Holston Conference UMW Social Action Day on Saturday, August 10 from 9:00 to 2:00. Topics Include "Pipeline to Prison" with Krystal Gourley and "Elder Abuse" with Carolyn Phillips and Susan J. Sheldon.
Lay Servant/Lay Speaker Training in Tennessee Valley District
Saturday, August 24 at Middlebrook Pike UMC, Knoxville
Classes offered include Basic Course with Del Holley, Prayer with John Justice and U.M. Heritage with Dennie Humphreys.
Roots & Shoots Luncheon for Older Adults
Thursday, August 29 at Colonial Heights UMC, Kingsport
Guest speaker is Charles Maynard. Cost is $11 per person, catered by BJ's. Registration deadline is August 15. Walk-ins cannot be accepted.
Adoration Prayer Service
Saturday, September 28 at ETSU Mini Dome
Adoration 2019 is a prayer and worship event. Their offering will go towards supporting opiod addiction ministries. 

Their goal is to gather people from 1,000 churches to pray and worship together. Consider signing up your church for this year's event.

Qty. 24, Lithonia Hi-Tek Industrial high intensity light fixtures. Manufacturers model number M58, 250 watt fixture with dual bulbs. Bulb one is a 250 watt metal halide high intensity light. Bulb 2 is a small incandescent light that is suitable for use on a dimmer circuit. An electrical dimmer / control panel is included with the lights. The lights are suitable for use in warehousing, gymnasium, or an entertainment venue.
 
All lights are offered as is with no warranty. We have no space to store the lights and with the exception of a few blown bulbs, were all working when de-installed.
 
The successful buyer will be responsible for on site pickup in the Gray TN area and must purchase all 24 lights. Asking price is $650 for all lights with control panel. These lights cost approx $300 each when new.
