We're excited to announce the 2020 Gross Global Happiness Summit (GGH)! At the UPEACE Centre for Executive Education, we are strong proponents of working to improve your wellbeing in key areas (think PERMA: Positive emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning and Achievements) -- for yourself, your family, and in the workplace. But we all need some tips and reminders sometimes!

From March 6-8, 2020, GGH will bring together leaders in the field of happiness and wellbeing from around the globe, as well as those that just aspire to learn and grow. Think business leaders, coaches, academics and NGOs. Through talks, active workshops, participant-led presentations, and optional activities like mindfulness and yoga, we will not just unpack the very concept of happiness, but also dig into how we can all have more of it.

So join us! Read below or click here to learn more. Super Early Bird prices, the lowest of the year, will apply until August 1st ! Plus, we want to hear from you! Apply to be a presenter by September 30th and share your expertise with the world!
What we're watching:
As we get hyped for the March event, we're looking back on the inaugural summit, remembering the amazing content exploring happiness in the workplace, with elders, in the form of grit and mindfulness , through yoga, in communication, compassion, theater and play, and so much more. If you weren't able to make it, this short video will show you what this incredible event is all about!
What we're reading
There's a reason that it makes sense to host Gross Global Happiness in Costa Rica - the country consistently ranks high on scales of happiness! In past years there has been increasing emphasis on the need to measure wellbeing, not just among individuals, but  nations as well. In fact, the title of our March event derives from this very idea - that we should be looking to increase global happiness. Read this short article for more on what Costa Rica is doing right!
