MILS OPENS FIRST INTERNATIONAL CHAPTER IN CANADA
MILS is thrilled to announce the creation of our Southern Ontario Chapter. For more information, please contact the cochairs  Sara Robertson and Ashley Frankel .

The Southern Ontario chapter is the fifth MILS Chapter established in the last year, and our first international chapter, The other chapters are: Alabama , Maryland/D.C. , New England , and Tennessee . If you are interested in creating a chapter in your area, please contact Emily Hornsby , Chapters Committee Chair.

LAWYER WELL-BEING WEEK IS COMING MAY 4-8, 2020
MILS is proud to participate in the first national Lawyer Well-Being Week , an important initiative of the National Task Force on Lawyer Well-Being and the ABA Law Practice Division Well-Being Committee). 

As its contribution, MILS will extend Mindful Mondays all week, so there will be daily virtual sits every day that week at 3 pm Eastern. You can get to them through our website .

Check out their 46 Activity Ideas  to see what might work within your professional environment, and go to their Awareness Messaging  tab to find a Social Media Calendar that gives idea for social media posts and graphics from February 10 through Well-Being Week. The Awareness Messaging tab also includes a  5-page  or  1-page  invite to Lawyer Well-Being Week that you can distribute to your contacts.

Supporting Lawyer Well-Being Week also supports MILS. A rising tide lift all ships, and our efforts may also result in MILS being listed among the Well-Being Champions on the lawyer well-being task force web site. So every little bit helps.
