The Trump administration has attacked the rights of transgender individuals and recently allowed doctors and providers to discriminate against LGBTQ+ individuals for simply being who they are. APLA Health won’t stand for that and we are using our platform to help others speak. The fight for equality is never easy, but APLA Health has the experience to ensure that no transgender or nonbinary individual faces discrimination in our care.

Part of our mission at APLA Health is advocacy at the government level, where we work tirelessly with officials to get legislation passed that will lead to better health outcomes for patients living with HIV. The more people — especially young people — that participate in our democracy, the better our future will be.
