Thrift For Good has proudly announced that they have reached their fund-raising goal which means renovating the children's homes, 4 hostels and the communal kitchen.

Thank you Thrift for Good and the decluttering community, the super shoppers and the amazing volunteers who empower us to support this cause!

OMAN | 5th Feb - Jebel Qiwhi | Register by 30th Jan!
Jebel Qihwi 
Hard full day climb to the summit of Jebel Qihwi, one of the highest mountains in the Musandam. This trek requires a high level of fitness and, some experience hiking in the region is an advantage. The rough and sometimes steep terrain is challenging even for seasoned trekkers.
OMAN | 19th Feb - Secret Staircases | Register by 13th Feb
Secret Staircases
Trek to two ancient villages hidden at the top of natural stairways carved into the Hajjar mountains. Explore terraced fields, stone houses and extensive petroglyphs. This is a great beginners trek and is suitable for active children as young as 8 years old
OMAN | 26th Feb - Jebel Qiwhi | Register by 20th Feb
Smugglers Bay
Tough 5 hour trek over coastal mountains. Reaching Myam beach where illegal immigrants are often smuggled from the Iranian coast. We can swim here before continuing up a boulder-strewn wadi and back to Dibba.

  • Tamara Taylor - English female rugby union player who captained England in the 2015 Women's Six Nations Championship and is the second most capped England player of all time.
  • Frank Bunce  - Retired New Zealand rugby union player and coach. He played in four international matches for Samoa and 55 for New Zealand, the All Blacks.
  • Norman Maxwell - Former New Zealand rugby union player who represented Crusaders in the Super 12 rugby competition.
  • Andy Vilk - Tecnico 'Head Coach' of Rugby 7s national side for Italy. Rugby union player who played in the forwards for England Sevens and captained the side in Hong Kong.
  • Paul Sampson - English rugby union and rugby league player who played for most famously London Welsh.
  • Aaron Persico - Italian rugby union player who made his debut for Italy against Scotland in the 2000 Six Nations Championship.

Female Focused Co-Working Space

The Bureau is a purpose-built co-ed, female focused co-working space in Dubai’s Gold & Diamond Park started by 2 Dubai-based sisters. Their mission is to create a community to support women both personally and professionally. The Bureau is supporting Gulf for Good with monthly day passes to allow the Ops Team to work from the beautiful space and to further enhance the partnership between GFG and The Bureau.
