*The Farmhouse is a 2 story white house, located across the street from

Valley Church at 4300 Fuller Rd. No parking on site . Please park in the Valley Church East Parking Lot and walk across the street. Entrance is at the back of the house.

A free event for all women who are new to

Valley Church or current attendees who desire to make connections and build friendships with other women at Valley Church.

Light snacks and beverages will be served.

FUN & FELLOWSHIP @ THE MOVIES

Fellowship is defined as a “friendly association, especially with people who share one's interest.” Valley Women’s Ministry invites you to find fellowship with other women while enjoying a wholesome, family movie together.

Having a fun event on your calendar to look forward to can make a huge difference in making you feel connected and not so alone. So please feel free to invite women outside of Valley church. In fact, we encourage you to invite your co-workers and neighbors.

VALLEY HOOKS & NEEDLES

Valley Hooks & Needles invites you to join us on:

Friday, October 12th,1-3 pm at the Valley Community Center. No experience needed, just a willing heart to learn and serve, We are willing to teach and show you how.

Hooks & Needles is also accepting yarn donations. Please drop off at the Valley Church office and give to Diana White.

We’ll repeat all four weeks of NEXT in future months so you can easily catch up if you are unable to attend all four weeks. Childcare is provided for children ages birth-4th grade.

BAPTISM AT VALLEY CHURCH

BAPTISM ON THE WEEKEND OF NOVEMBER 10 & 11!

Adult & Student Baptism (For those ages 6th Grade–Adult)

Have you placed your faith in Jesus? Whether you’ve been a Christian for a couple of weeks or a couple of decades, baptism is your next step! To participate, attend one info meeting offered every weekend in October starting next week.

Child Baptism (For those ages 1st Grade-5th Grade)

BALLET MAGNIFICAT

Prodigal’s Journey: Life in a small town is shaken up when a husband suddenly forsakes his loving wife and daughter and leaves with the desire to be free and find enjoyment and fulfillment in life. Heartbroken, the wife and daughter struggle to forgive him and eagerly await his return. The journey that the husband thought would bring pleasure ends up producing only sorrow and regret. After reaching the “dead-end” of a lifetime, the husband returns home to ask forgiveness from his family- and he is received with open arms. A touching tale of forgiveness and restoration set to a mélange of classical ballet, jazz, modern and even some swing dance! Experience the power of restoration as the Prodigal journeys home.

Ballet Magnificat! has been helping to take Christian dance to new levels each year. By implementing not only classical ballet but also contemporary, modern, and jazz into their shows, Ballet Magnificat has been able to tour internationally for many years and share the gospel through the medium of dance.

PROJECT IMPACT

Project: Impact is just one of the ways you can help Valley Community Center as we are "Doing good for the community...with the community." Each month, you have an opportunity to donate items that are then collected and distributed to local agencies - everything from food, diapers, blankets, coats, shoes, and more!

October: Winter Warmth Drive

We’re partnering with the Winter Warmth Drive to make a difference as the cold weather sets in! We’re collecting coats, hats, gloves, blankets, scarves, snow boots, and pants . . . any items that provide proper winter attire for our cold, Iowa winters. These donations will go to several non-profits and schools in our area.

DROP OFF YOUR DONATIONS AT THE FOLLOWING TIMES AND LOCATIONS:

(available at amazon.com purchase here )

Then join other women to discuss the book and what you gleaned from it. Invite a friend to join you!

Tip....The book has 30 chapters, so if you get the book soon, you can read one chapter a day and be ready to share what you learned and how it impacted your prayer life.

Join us on Saturday, October 13, 9am-2pm in East Central Station. (Lower Level of Valley Church)

Connect with other Valley Women and share your passion for making Quilts. Valley Quilters make "Compassion Quilts" as well as other service projects.
