Sharing the love of Jesus with children around the world through Christian education
"I Love to Tell the Story..."

April, 2019
"... of Jesus and His Love."
Holy Week draws our attention to the walk that Jesus took from His Palm Sunday entrance, to the cross... and out of the tomb. This week, we see the extent of our Lord's great love for us: to live, to suffer and die, and to rise again so that we might be redeemed.
How great it is to share this story of Christ's love with children... and when we get the chance to share it in person with children attending one of our international educational projects - that's an Easter joy experience!
Pray that more and more children can sit at the feet of Christian teachers, hear the wonderful story of our Savior... and join in the song of the "old, old story of Jesus and His love!"

Thank you Lorenz Family Foundation
A grant from the Lorenz family foundation helped to make Last year's symposium in Guatemala a great success. Dr. Jonathan Laabs of LEA was there to participate in the official beginnings of ACLEA, the new educators' association for Latin American schools.I f you are aware of a grant that your church or organization offers to support these unique educational developments, pass our name along!
Miss Friendship
While visiting Resurrection Lutheran School in Gualan, Guatemala, we had the chance to watch the Valentine's Day "Miss Friendship" contest. The students voted for the those individuals who best demonstrated
I Corinthians 13.
The festivities started off with Pastor Luis sharing a message about what true Christian love is all about.
We finished the message with the Good News that our best friend is Jesus.
The best part was listening to the contestants share a Bible verse and their great hope in God and His love.
