HAPPENING SUNDAY
Pastor Trudy's Message
The time leading up to the Passover comes with very specific instructions for the Israelites for how they are to prepare and eat a lamb. Why do they need to be so careful about things that just don't seem that important? Let's flip that question, when God invites us to join His work, why wouldn't we do so with extra care, knowing that no detail is unimportant?
God, you consider every detail of the creation. Guide us to respond to your call with the same care. In Jesus' name, Amen.

WONDERING...
REAL QUESTIONS FROM REAL PEOPLE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT GLC
Why does it sometimes take God a long time to answer our prayers? Keeping with the rabbinic tradition of answering questions with questions, why does it take us so long to align our prayers to God's work? When we talk about a generous life in Christ, it requires that we see God working in all things. Not that we are always happy about seeing God working in things like pandemics, but it will help our prayer life to trust that He is already at work and we can be eager to join that work.

How many Lutheran pastors does it take to help bag 1,000 pounds of beans and rice in an hour and a half? Payton and Jordan Hunter, and Judy Richter were joined by Vicar Amber, Pastor Wende, and Pastor Trudy to help with the St. Andrew food distribution. #generouslifeinChrist
