In-person worship for 65 and older
We welcome all those who are 65 years and older to a small group worship with Holy Communion. We will continue to practice physical distancing and mask wearing. Registration is not required.
Pastor Trudy's Sunday Message
How big is the grace of Jesus? For those concerned about divisions in the church these days, this week we will see that divisions happened from the very beginning. They had long debates which are not recorded in scripture, but we know the result in this case! Peter leaned in to the grace of Jesus and encouraged these early believers not to put limits on this grace.

God of grace and love, help us to receive Your Good news with open hearts and to resist the urge to build barriers around it. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Sunday in-person worship

We are welcoming up to 30 people for our 9:00 am Sunday worship service. Please arrive for worship by 8:55 am. There is no pre-registration, but masks, health self-certification, and physical distancing are still required.

WONDERING...
Real questions from real people to learn more about faith
How does God know if you are struggling?

In the book of Psalms, we have assurances of God's presence; knitting us together in our mother's womb, watching over our going out and our coming in, and accompanying us through the most difficult times, even the valley of the shadow of death. This means that God is deeply invested in a relationship with us. Even when we don't know what to ask, the Bible tells us that the Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words. God already knows our struggles and is right there with us, often sending us a person or people who walk through it all with us. We are never alone!
We lift up in prayer
  • We surround with our prayers Gloria Nephew, at the death of her brother Paul Roman
  • All those with COVID-19
  • For comfort and strength for those continuing to struggle with loss and grief
  • Continued patience during this time
  • Gratitude for those able to reunite with loved ones
  • Thanksgiving for signs of new life

Notes from the GLC Community
What a fabulous surprise! Thank you so much for the beautiful yellow tulips from the altar on Easter! I am touched by your thoughtfulness. In the fall I will plant the bulbs in my garden, and will be reminded of your kindness again next spring. Love, Kristine Ulbrich

Words can't express how much I appreciate receiving my prayer shawl. It came at a perfect time for me, as both my husband and I are dealing with health issues right now. I put the shawl around my shoulders and feel such a comfort knowing prayers have been knitted into each stitch. Thank you so much for my shawl. It is such a wonderful gift. Love to all of you. Nancy

Thank you so much for the Easter lily. It was such a pleasant surprise to have delivered! And we were all home to receive them. Happy Easter Blessings! Love, The Ortegels
