Pastor Trudy's Message
Both Christmas Eve and the first Sunday of Christmas focus on baby Jesus. Before he has spoken, before he has healed anyone, before he has cast out any demons, before he has done anything, we hear how special he is. He is a pure sign of God's love for us. Praying that we can receive it.

God made Flesh, in Jesus You showed us the power of Your love, not because of what we've done, but because of who You are. Open our hearts to receive and trust His love. In Jesus' name, Amen.
GLC Kids and Families
NO SUNDAY SCHOOL—December 26 & January 2
Did you see the Children's Christmas Program video that played during service? The story of Jesus' birth is told as only children can do. It is absolutely priceless! Many thanks to the children and families who participated, music direction of Amy Steenson and Peggy Walker, and to Faith Sax, our Audio Visual Coordinator, who put it all together! #generouslifeinChrist
MISSION PARTNER FOCUS
How you can help our ministry partners this season! #generouslifeinChrist
  • St. Andrew Food Distribution Donate individually wrapped toothbrushes, dental floss, and big or little tubes of toothpaste (the ones from your dentist!). Drop them in the bin in the Narthex by January 16.

  • Lazarus House Sign up to donate specific clothing items on SignUp Genius and drop them in the bin in the Narthex.
END OF YEAR GIVING
Thank you for considering your church home as you plan your end of year giving; online, checks, cash, Required Minimum Distributions, or stock donations are great ways to give. For credit on your 2021 giving statement, put your offering in the plate on Christmas Eve or give online before midnight on December 31. If you choose to mail your donation, it must be postmarked by December 31, 2021. Email Lisa Kanzler or call (331-248-6699) with questions.
We lift up in prayer
  • This season of celebration
  • All of us to hear the story of Jesus' birth in a new way
  • The devastation and loss of life in the tornadoes in the south and midwest
  • People who are traveling and gathering
  • Our ministry partners and those who are in need of their services
  • All who are weary
Would you like to add the name of a loved one or a concern to the prayer list or to GLC's confidential prayer chain? Please visit Request Prayer.
