Rachel Cumberbatch is an American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Congressional Fellow in the Office of Senator Al Franken (D-MN). In this capacity, Dr. Cumberbatch supports the Senator's healthcare portfolio.
Prior to her fellowship, Dr. Cumberbatch served as a AAAS Fellow at the EPA's Indoor Environment Division where she developed programs to reduce the rate of asthma attacks in children. She also practiced clinical veterinary medicine in Connecticut, worked as a veterinary intern at USDA-Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), and served as a student trustee at Purdue University. Dr. Cumberbatch earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Bachelors in Science from Purdue University.
There is a 50 person limit to our meeting so we suggest you register early. The cost of the evening is $20.00 per person and includes dinner, discussion with colleagues and networking. Students (with identification) may attend for $10.00.
