With food prices escalating, food banks are under pressure like never before. This Shavuot, help us stock the shelves of our food drive partner, northwest Toronto’s Braeburn Neighbourhood Place, whose members greatly appreciate our community’s support.

Families are invited to join us at Earl Bales Park to celebrate the Shavuot harvest, explore the park and search for the “first fruits” of the year.
We’ll scavenge for food sources beneficial to local wildlife, take part in a forest cleanup, and plant wild seeds. Together, we’ll learn about medicinal properties found in wild plants and share in practices and traditions passed down from our Indigenous brothers and sisters on our shared lands.
