WONDERING...
Real questions from real people to learn more about faith
Now must be the end...right? Yes! Because it is always the end of something and the beginning of something else. REM famously sings 'It's the end of the world as we know it.' The key is 'as we know it'. Perhaps it has never been more clear. Therefore the call of our faith has never been more clear, as we double down on the message of healing, challenge and hope we find in Jesus' life and words.

Pastor Trudy's Weekend Message
What happens when the Gospel lesson sounds like news headlines? Many times when we hear the predictions in Mark's 'little revelation', people start to point to the signs that indicate that NOW is the end of the world. When we do this we fall into the trap set in this passage—that focusing on whether it is the time is a way of being led astray from the truth, from Jesus, who promises to lead us through all times.
God of past, present and future, You hold time in Your hands. You hold us in Your hands. Help us to trust. In Jesus' name, Amen.
