YOU CAN’T KILL A GIANT IF YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO USE A SLINGSHOT

You can be sure if you have learned a spiritual truth that you will be put to a test to see if you truly have learned it. If you are studying faith you will have your faith tested in many ways. Whatever we have learned always will be tested. Many children in school do very well in the classroom setting but fail when they take a test. They freeze up and cannot put into writing what they have learned. Others do poorly in the classroom setting but have high scores on written tests.

Every person reacts to testing differently. Some despise them. Some study and study so they can pass the test. For others it comes easily, and they pass without a lot of studying. Everyone will be tested and tested again until we pass the classroom of life.

Spiritually speaking, if a message is taught on patience, you can be sure we will be put into a position that will require patience. If your Pastor teaches on tithing and how it rebukes the devourer and opens the windows of Heaven, you can be sure that Satan will set up circumstances that make you believe you can’t give because you won’t be able to pay your bills. If you are taught that God heals you, you can be sure that sickness will come to test your faith.

Yes, there will always be tests to see if we have learned how to “solve the problem.”   As students in elementary school, we had to learn our numbers. Then we learned how to add numbers together. Then we learned subtraction, multiplication, and division. Each of these required the foundation of the former level to advance. So, it is with things of faith. We have to be rooted and grounded in the Word of God to pass spiritual tests.

Many think they need to move into advanced areas without the foundation, but eventually, they will see it was a mistake. You must be spiritually grown from faith to faith. We can’t kill giants like David did if we have never learned how to use a sling shot.

Don’t get upset when tests come. Learn to handle each test with a promise from God. Search the scriptures to find the promise for the problem. As you grow stronger in the promises, you will see that the tests become easier. You’ll be using that slingshot before you know it!

ABRAHAM PART 9
THE PHARAOH ENCOUNTER

Genesis 12:10-20 tells what happened in Egypt when Abram went there. Pharaoh took Abram’s wife Sarai into his house with the intention of marrying her. Abram’s deceitful plot had led Pharaoh to believe she was unmarried. Knowing that Abram had the legal authority to offer his “sister” in marriage, Pharaoh began showering Abram with all manner of gifts, somewhat like a dowry.

Pharaoh gave Abram many servants (slaves), sheep, oxen, donkeys, and camels. Abram’s wealth grew and grew. However, Pharaoh began to get besieged with plagues. He understood this was from a god that punishing him for wrongdoing. He learned from this that Sarai was more than Abram’s sister; she was also his wife.

Pharaoh called Abram in and rebuked him for deceiving him. He told Abram to take his wife and get out of Egypt. “Oh, by the way, keep everything I have given you. Just get out!!!” He then commanded his soldiers to escort Abram out of the country.

But God had made Abram a promise (Genesis 12:2). He would make Abram a great nation and a great name in the world, and Abram would become a blessing to all the families of the earth.

Even though Abram had followed his own way instead of God’s way, and even though he had dealt dishonestly with Pharaoh, God continued to bless Abram and increased his wealth and power. God had a plan for this man, and God was going to build upon that promise despite Abram’s faults.

God’s promises are sure and certain. His plan for you will be fulfilled even if you make some wrong turns, like Abram did. Abram eventually learned to trust God; it just took him most of his life to get to that point.

If you will trust God, and seek to follow in His way, you will also find fulfillment in His plan for you. You might not “see” it now but stay with Him and it will come to pass.

It is His desire to bless you, and not to condemn you. He loves you more than you can imagine. He is faithful. Let us also be faithful.

PLAN OF ACTION FOR THIS HOUR
Here's a comment I made on a friend's post a couple of days ago, regarding the best plan of action for the season we are in, more specifically to be prepared for what we, as a nation, will walk through in the next 6-9 mths.

1. Pray! Pray that the things that many of us know and see coming can be diminished to some level. I believe that some things have already been lessened from what they could have been, especially in regards to storms, by prayer and declarations that have gone forth from many intercessors and prayer warriors. I have seen things diminish, and not do near the damage that it could have because of this. Someone sent me a message months ago that she was pretty positive that the tornado headed straight for their house was deterred and turned away, because of implementing prayer strategy that I had taught her (take communion, apply the blood, take authority & tell the storms they can not come near your dwelling, etc). I have said many times..I believe several things can be diminshed and/or exposed(threats), but not all. I don't believe some can be stopped completely by prayer, from what I have seen and heard. Some things must happen. It is a part of reaping some things that have been sown over past seasons. God will still protect His own. Many things coming will also cause a great cry to come forth from His remnant, as well as many who are backsliden coming back to the Lord in the next 6-9 mths.

2. Prepare in the spiritual - get with the Lord. The secret place is the key in this hour. He is revealing much there, and will help you know how to thrive and not just survive the "Best of Times, Worst of Times" season we are in. Get around those who can help you stay in faith and not fear. Read the word consistently. Get it "in you". Take communion and apply the blood over your family more regularly than normal. Fast. Intercede for your metron and sphere. Do prayer walks around your neighborhood, city, territory, applying the blood. Declare that every place you walk, you are abolishing chaos and anarchy, as your feet are shod with the gospel of peace!
3. Prepare in the natural - Prepare for 4-6 months of very hard times. Times that we haven't seen in this country in many generations, if ever. Most who follow my ministry, know that I have shared much over the last 3 years, and even more specifically over the last year about what I have seen coming. Also during that time, I have given those who follow our ministry more specifics about the best ways to prepare. If you haven't seen those words/articles, please head over to my website to see those, or comment below and I will send you those.

I do not have time to go through every place that will probably be effected, and tell them how to prepare. That is not logistically possible. If you are in the U.S., assume you need to be prepared somewhat. What I do say is...please get with the Lord and pray about exactly how, and how much He would have you to prepare, based on your location and circumstances. Do what you can, and trust the Lord for the rest. Agabus (Acts 11) prophecied that a famine was coming to the region. I'm not sure if they had any more details than that, but they knew to prepare...which saved them, and made it much easier for them, and others whom they shared with. We would be wise to do as they did. Pray, prepare, and trust the Lord with the rest. Expect supernatural provision for things you can't prepare for...there will be many miracles among God's people during this time.
Remember: God is still on His throne! Faith over fear...EVERYTHING WE DO SHOULD BE DONE IN FAITH, NOT FEAR. Our trust is in our God!
