Mad Swede Brewing teamed up with Music Mondays 208 to curate a stacked lineup of local favorites for the inaugural Mad Music Weekend at the Mad Swede Brew Hall.
Saturday’s lineup is packed with psychedelic and punk rock goodness with bands like Cabeza, Switchfull Lotus, Moon Owl’s Mages, and more. Tickets for Saturday are only $20 pre-sale or $30 at the door, making this the most affordable music fest you’re likely to find. On Sunday you can expect more solo musicians and laid-back vibes with acts like Tuc DeCroy, Kid Catapult, Sef Idle, and more. Tickets for Sunday are $20 pre-sale or $25 at the door. If you want to come for both days, a weekend pass is just $35. All ticket proceeds go directly to the musicians. Mad Swede is making good use of an epic sound system inherited from The Duck Club by way of Woodland Empire. The system was passed on to the local brewery with the intent of helping foster a space for local musicians to blossom in the heart of downtown. “These bands are talented, hardworking, and easy to work with,” says manager Emily Carnes, “We are lucky to be able to showcase so many of them in one weekend.” If you love live music and supporting local, this is a can’t-miss weekend at Mad Swede Brew Hall.
