NO TIME LIKE THE PRESENT
Are you a procrastinator? Do you find yourself with dreams but never putting them into action? Has God called you to do something, but you are waiting for everything to be perfect before you do it?
Can you imagine Moses standing at the Red Sea and the enemy is behind him, pursuing him along with the thousands of other Hebrew children? I am sure he was thinking to himself, “You can’t go back.” Now the Red Sea is ahead of him. He has a choice. He can sit down and have a pity party, or he can follow God’s lead, which does not make a lot of sense, and touch the water with his rod. He was going in uncharted territory. He had no time to look up on google how to “Part the Red Sea.” He had no way of knowing what would happen. He was just obedient! I am sure he thought, no time like the present to trust God!
Most of the time when God calls us to do something that requires faith beyond what we have, he will allow the circumstances to look insurmountable. The reason for this is that God is the one to get the glory for what happens, and not you. We have to take the first step and listen as he leads us the rest of the way.
A friend of mine is legally blind. She can see light but can make out very little around her. She told me she still goes to Walmart. She can’t use the electric cart because she can’t see where she is going. She uses her walker. As she walks, she listens to Holy Spirit tell her to turn left or turn right or stop. She has developed her “spiritual ears and eyes” to do this. Once He told her to stop because there was a post in front of her. By obeying she avoided a crash, but she is doing something with her life that many would not do. If they were in her condition they would have quit or had a pity party.
There is no quitting with our walk with God my friends. Like my friend, we must learn to listen to God and take one step at a time by listening to Holy Spirit. We must learn to trust God in all that we do. We know that God knows everything, but we often doubt He knows what is good for us. What a contradiction. The God of the universe has reached down and placed His Holy Spirit inside of us, and we are told in John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you ALL THINGS, and bring ALL THINGS to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” Again, in John 16:13 it says, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.” We can trust that God has a plan and will reveal it to us!
Knowing this and acting on it are two different things. Isn’t today a good time to start trusting Him in “all” things? There is no time like the present to do it!

TO GIVE AND BE GIVEN – LESSON 13
AGAPE AND AGAPAO “GOD LOVE”
A gift of God that every person will “be given” is God’s divine love placed within each person who accepts His love gift of Jesus as their Lord.
John 3:16 and Romans 5:8 tell us that God’s love for us is why He sent His only begotten Son to save us. But He goes beyond that to actually give to us that same kind of love imparted into us.
The New Testament Greek word used here is “agape.” It is a divine love not found in man’s concept of love. Call it a “God love.” The other Greek words for “love” are “eros” which is a physical love and “phileo” which is “brotherly love” or the type of camaraderie that we have with other people. “Agape” is a different love for all people, even for the unlovely or the hateful or evil ones.
His gift of love placed within us by the Holy Spirit is written in Romans 5:5 where it says, “…The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts (spirits) by the Holy Ghost…”. It is His gift given to us in our spirit (heart) and only comes from Him. It is not natural to mankind.
The fourth chapter of I John gives the best explanation of “agape.” I John 4:7 says, “…let us love (agapao) one another, for love (agape) is of God, and everyone that loveth (agapao) is born of God and knoweth God.” “Agape” is the essence of the love, while “agapao” is the manifestation (action) of that love.
Verse I John 4 verses 8 and 16 both say, “God is love.” He not only has love for us, but He is the very essence Himself of pure love.
I John 4:12 says, “… If we love (agapao) one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love (agape) is perfected in us.”
Read the entire passage of I John 4:7-21 to get a good grasp of the gift you were “given” from God.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO HEAR THIS WORD TODAY
April 18, 2008
As given to Helen Todd Sanders
Empty yourself, yes empty yourself, saith the Lord. Empty yourself of all of those things that are hindering you from coming into total agreement with me and my Word. You would say you feel empty, and I would say that is what I am waiting for. Your emptiness gives me the opportunity to fill you up with me. I am the Alpha and the Omega. I am the beginning and the end. I am all that you need. I am your provider. I am your sustainer. I am your healer and your lover. Come to me my beloved, and I will surely fill you up. Rest in this, saith the Lord, that I am a jealous God, and that I will have no other idols before me. You would say, idols Lord, what idols? And I would say that anything that keeps you from being in my presence and will are idols, and they must go, and you must come to me. You must come unencumbered, and then you will be filled up. Your emptiness is about to change saith the Lord as you come to me and let me fill you with myself. For in me is all peace, all joy all abundance and all in all. I am all that you need. For when you come into my presence all else that you concern yourself about will dissolve and vanish, for only I, yes, my child, only I can bring you what you are looking for, so rejoice in your emptiness, for you are about to receive a fullness beyond your wildest thoughts and imaginations, only come to me and you will receive saith the Lord.

EXHORTATION
You’ll never qualify for your promised purpose and your hopeful promotion of tomorrow...Until you first thank your enemies of yesterday and today. Don’t you know God was fully aware that there’d be a famine in Joseph’s future? Sure He did and in fact, He knew it long before the jealous brothers found the pit they eventually tossed Joseph down into. Likewise, today when God begins to create your destiny; Strange as it may seem, He will work through your greatest enemy in order to help position you for His proving ground of you. Why? It’s to get you to the right place; And to put you in front of the right people...So that His divine purpose for your life can come into full fruition. You’ve heard the old saying that God qualifies the called...Well yes, He does that for sure. However, God will ultimately call the best qualified for their purpose and for His glory. But...He’ll do so ONLY after He strategically positions them in a pit of preparation. This is all for the sole purpose of preparing them to pass the grueling tests of the intense training for reigning. Remember no one ever escapes their endurance tests. That’s just part of the process on the way to their promised promotion.
