  1. We are in need of a preschool aide for 16.5 hours each week. The times are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:45 am to 9:45 am and Thursday and Friday from 7:45 am to 1 pm.
  2. We are looking for an aide in 4th grade to help a student stay focused on work and to be a general help around the classroom. This position is for 25 hours each week - from 9 am to 2 pm every day.
  3. We are also in need of a cafeteria monitor from 10:45 am to 12:30 every day.
The perfect candidate for our open positions is someone who is calm and patient. Some background in education is a definite plus. If you are interested in either of these positions please contact the school office. You will need to be in SafeParish, and undergo a background and fingerprint check. If you work in the preschool, there may be other classes you will need to take. The parish will reimburse you for these expenses.
Congratulations to St. Veronica Class of 2019 graduate, Emily Cherry, who recently earned the life-time honor of Eagle Scout.

Emily continued a Cherry family tradition that has spanned 4 generations in Boy Scouts by earning her Eagle Scout award.
The tradition started in the 1930’s when her great grandfather L.B. Cherry earned his Eagle Scout award becoming one of the first scouts to earn the award. Her grandfather followed in scouting. Her father and uncles also all earned the Eagle Scout award.

Much the same as her great grandfather blazed a new trail becoming one of the first Eagle Scout awards, Emily has broken down the barriers becoming one of the first girls to earn the award, blazing the trail and showing other girls the path!!

Congratulations, Emily!
Some high schools are now offering fall HSPT test prep sessions on select weekends. Because the high schools are offering these additional sessions beyond just their summer camp offerings, St. Veronica will not host a separate HSPT test prep this year. If you would like to find additional information, or sign your student up for a session, visit any of the sites below.

Diagnostic Test: 10/16: 8am- 11:15
Test Prep Sessions: 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13: 8:30am- 10:30

Test Prep Sessions: 10/30 & 11/6: 12:30- 4:30pm

Test Prep Session: 11/6: 9am- 3pm

It is very beneficial for students to take part in the HSPT test prep classes. You do not have to take the prep class at the high school you would like to attend.

The date for the HSPT is November 20th and you must register by November 3rd. Click HERE to register your student at your preferred location.
