Revere Plastics is a leading plastics manufacturer and is seeking a Production Manager to join our Poplar Bluff, MO team!
PLASTICS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. The perfect candidate MUST have manufacturing management or leadership experience and be ready lead a solid team with huge potential for growth!
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Champion continuous improvement activities.
*Responsible for achieving KPM objectives on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
*Primary responsibility for the meeting of all production schedules.
*Continually monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate manning to meet production requirements.
*Identify and resolve safety issues.
*Assure TS16949 conformance.
*Manage employees fairly and equally, setting fair and reasonable performance objectives, conducting performance evaluations, when due. Manage marginal employees for improvement or, when necessary, separation.
*Support management team and be the leader for employees reporting to you, taking them to the next level of excellence.
*Perform other duties, as required, for the safe, efficient and profitable operation of the division.
*Implement and maintain 5S.
*Develop production employees through training opportunities, coaching and mentoring.
Required Education and Experience:
*The Production Manager will have 3+ years of supervisor or management experience in a manufacturing environment. (Prefer injection molding or plastics experience).
*The Production Manager will have 3 years minimum at a Production Manager level.
*Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred.
*The Production Manager will have experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, or 5-S in a manufacturing environment. Must have some level of continuous improvement experience.
*The Production Manager must have the ability to s continuous improvement activities.
*Excellent communication skills are required.
*Computer skills include MS Office applications. Experience with IQMS a plus.
