From Laurie Brown
Laurie greeting at door
We see the face of God in the caring voices and loving actions of our CSMSG parishioners. People are eagerly checking in on one another by making calls, writing notes, and providing encouragement and assistance. Here are statements I have heard from parishioners that illustrate how this ministry of encouragement is touching people.

"I just had a wonderful call with a couple from the church. What lovely people ! She told me she was baptized at St. Michaels. They said it meant so much to get a call from the church. They laughed and said they had been ushers and members of the choir. They appreciated the effort by the church to take care of them. What a blessing this has been!! Caller Carl Eichenberger

St. Paul’s Guild members are continuing to pray for those on the prayer list every day, just as they always have done when officiating Morning and Evening Prayer in St. Mary’s Chapel.

"I would like to pray Friday's Evening Prayer here at home on behalf of the church. A parishioner had said to me, at one point when she was ill, it gave her great comfort to know that someone was at church every day praying for her by name. That has stuck with me." St. Paul's Guild member Anne Daniels

Our life together continues in other ways, both familiar and new.

Our newest church member was born Tuesday. Welcome Juniper Louise Hebisen!

Fr. Andrew, Fr. Peter, Fr. Tom, Fr. Stewart and Rob, with the help of videographer/Youth Director Kyle Tallman, are recording daily Morning Prayer, weekday noon Eucharists, and Sunday liturgies. These videos can be accessed at any time of day on our church website.

“I loved watching the live streamed service this morning. It filled me with joy. Thanks to all of you for doing this. Blessings abound" Georgia Streett

We are the church dispersed during this trying time, yet we continue to serve our neighbors and give encouragement and help to one another in old and new ways.

Continue to encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
