Oregon Architecture Awards

The AIA Oregon Architecture Awards and Professional Achievement Awards opened July 17th! Let's celebrate the most outstanding architectural projects and achievements in the state this year.

Professional Achievement Awards

Introduced in 2018 to replace the singular Emerging Professional of the Year Award, these awards celebrate and recognize achievement at all levels of the profession within our community. The goal is to promote engagement within the chapter and recognize valuable contributions of members serving the community and proactively improving the architecture profession. The Awards include:

  • AIA Oregon President's Award
  • AIA Oregon Young Architect Award
  • AIA Oregon Emerging Professional Award

Candidates for individual recognition awards are nominated with support from AIA Oregon Member Firms. Individuals within member firms can nominate peers, with firm leadership support, to encourage all firm employees to honor the work of their colleagues.

This is a terrific way to recognize the experts in your offices, to magnify the excellent work of your team, and promote young talent. This is exclusively available to member firms!

AIA Statement on Maui Disaster Assistance

Show Your Support

The wildfires on the islands of Maui and the Big Island in Hawaii have caused widespread damage and killed dozens of people. The death toll continues to rise, making it the deadliest wildfire in modern U.S. history.

The AIA family is deeply saddened by these recent wildfires and is working in close coordination with AIA Hawaii as recovery efforts get underway. AIA’s past experience with disasters of this magnitude tells us that the recovery process is a long, arduous road that architects can, and must help navigate, to make communities whole once again.

[For now,] AIA Hawaii recommends giving to the Maui Strong Fund. 100 percent of the funds will be distributed for community needs for immediate response and recovery.
