To kick off Rhino Awareness Week TODAY Sunday Sept 15th from 4-6pm , Cause Conservation will be screening the highly acclaimed and award-winning documentary Breaking Their Silence at Laguna Beach High School.
Cause Conservation and Remember and Give together with LBHS, are extremely honored to be showcasing this film. Breaking Their Silence is a documentary covering women on the front lines of wildlife conservation across Africa. From a judge prosecuting poachers, to a ranger who has turned to adopting baby rhinos that have been left behind after their mothers have been slaughtered for their horn, the movie provides a succinct summary of the crisis facing our endangered wildlife and is a passionate plea to humanity to get involved in solving this crisis.
Kerry David, the movie director of Breaking Their Silence, will be in attendance and hosting a live Q&A. Seating is limited and is first come/first serve. A $15 donation per seat is recommended with all donations going to Over & Above Africa [ @trulygirl foundation] and Remember and Give [LBHS to support conservation education in the school].
