A2IM is proud to announce its fifth annual SynchUp conference, taking place on October 30, 2019 at the Annenberg Community Beach House in Santa Monica, California.
This year's event will include programs featuring the best and brightest minds and leadership from the independent music industry. Attendees will participate in programs focusing on digital capacity and synch licensing while also taking time to meet with old friends and make new ones over breakfast, lunch, and a sunset cocktail hour. SynchUp will take place on Wednesday, October 30
at the Annenberg Community Beach House in Santa Monica. This falls one day after the Rock Paper Scissors Music Tectonics Conference. Music Tectonics is partnering with A2IM's SynchUp Presented by Vydia, combining forces to offer both conferences in L.A. in the same week. On October 29
, 2019 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, Music Tectonics invites labels, managers, publishers, tech companies, and startups to explore the seismic shifts that are shaping the business of music now and in the future. The partnership complements SynchUp's new focus on digital capacity, encouraging A2IM members to stay on top of the innovations that continue to shake up the music industry.
Music Tectonics sessions address the impact of AI, blockchain, investment, royalties, the MMA, the latest music marketing tools, voice discovery, innovative listening experiences, new approaches to licensing, live streaming, and more. Visit
A2IM is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit trade organization headquartered in New York City that exists to support and strengthen the independent recorded music sector. Membership currently includes a broad coalition of more than 600 Independently-owned American music labels. A2IM represents these independently owned small and medium-sized enterprises' (SMEs) interests in the marketplace, in the media, on Capitol Hill, and as part of the global music community. In doing so, it supports a key segment of America's creative class that represents America's diverse musical cultural heritage.
