Faithfulness: Churches love their neighbors and open their hearts during a pandemic year
Today, the Presbyterian Outlook published an article that explores how congregations across the country have been coping with the COVID-19 pandemic. Rather than allowing set-backs to impede them, many church leaders embraced opportunities to nurture, if not expand, their outreach and effectiveness. We are honored to see that our own efforts have been recognized! It is a testament to the innovation and flexibility of our churches, and we are very proud of what we’ve accomplished together. If we've learned anything, it's that these past two years have only made us stronger, so keep up the great work!

Welcoming the Stranger: Immigration and Detention
Baltimore's Susan Krehbiel moderated a national panel earlier this month for an in-depth discussion on the topic of immigration and detention. As the United States’ reliance on immigration detention has ballooned over the years, so has the inhumane treatment and documented instances of abuse at taxpayer expense.
- Listen to firsthand accounts of how people are treated inside these immigration prisons and after their release.
- Be inspired by local Presbyterians and interfaith coalitions who advocate to end immigration detention even as they seek to minister with individuals who are detained.
- Find out how you can become involved as part of a national campaign to welcome with dignity immigrants in your own community.
