Healthy Boundaries Training on July 11th

Members of the Presbytery are reminded that the Healthy Boundaries Training required of all clergy will be held Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 9 to 3 at Central Presbyterian Church, 7308 York Road in Towson. In Memoriam

Rev. Bob Ferguson

The Reverend Bob Ferguson, former pastor of the Deer Creek Harmony church, passed away on June 16 after a long decline. Bob was the husband of The Reverend Peg Ferguson, a former Pastor of Granite Presbyterian who was honored with the title of Pastor Emeritus in 2012.    A memorial service for Bob was held on Saturday, June 22, at New Hope Presbyterian Church in Katy, Texas.   Peg suggested that memorial gifts be designated for the Memorial Fund of Granite Presbyterian Church (or to the Presbytery of Baltimore, Committee on Preparation for Ministry).    If you wish to send correspondence to Peg, her address is:   The Reverend Peg Ferguson  3627 Winstrome Court Katy, Texas 77449

Community Engagement Grant deadline is July 1st

The Presbytery’s new Community Engagement Grant deadline is fast approaching on July 1, 2019. There is $25,000 total available from the Enduring Witness Fund to be awarded by the Commission on Reconciliation. The grants will be awarded up to $7,500 per applicant. Baltimore - Dakota Partnership Camps

Guatemala Partnership plans for Fall trip

The Baltimore Guatemala Partnership (go to Presbytery website and click on Guatemala Partnership ) has begun plans for a Fall trip The Migrant Crisis: Root Causes, Christian Responses October 14-20, 2019. Registration forms and more details will be available in the coming weeks or contact the Rev. Baltimore Presbytery to host International Peacemaker

Churches in Baltimore Presbytery will be hosting PCUSA International Peacemaker from the Cameroon, Jaff Bamenjo, September 18 – 25, 2019. Jaff serves as the Coordinator of RELUFA, the Network for the Fight Against Hunger, a Joining Hands partner of the Presbyterian Hunger Program in Cameroon. Thanks to First Presbyterian of Howard County for coordinating Jaff’s visit. Please contact the Rev.
