Next Week's 898th Stated Meeting
The Docket is being finalized, and should be posted prior to the weekend, but meanwhile, meeting papers are available, and registration remains open on our website for the next Stated Meeting of Presbytery: March 9 at 10 am.

There will be much to discuss and discern, including commission reports, and updates from our partners in ministry. We hope you have set aside next Thursday morning to join us!
Youth Scholarship Funds Available
Each year the Spiritual Leader Development Commission budgets money for Triennium, a national youth conference that takes place every three years. Due to COVID the PC(USA) had to cancel Triennium last summer. As such, the SLDC has decided to re-allocate those funds to churches who are looking to provide more opportunities for youth ministry and programming.
If interested, visit our online application, and please submit any scholarship questions to SLDC Chair, Amy Carlson at AmyCarlson@mthebronpc.org.
#Belonging in April’s Presbyterian Outlook
Next month's issue of Presbyterian Outlook will explore the concept of belonging from various perspectives, identities, places and positions.
This issue responds to what some scholars are naming an “epidemic” of isolation in society today and will encourage faithful conversation about how to promote belonging among us and our communities. The issue will include a featured interview with Willie James Jennings, professor at Yale University and author of After Whiteness: An Education in Belonging, as well as a contribution from Rev. Mihee Kim-Kort, Co-pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Annapolis and author of Outside the Lines: How Embracing Queerness Will Transform Your Faith.

Order extra copies of this special issue for use in independent study, congregation-wide discussions, Sunday School classes or small groups. Extra copies are available for pre-order now for just $4/copy. Orders placed by Friday, March 10, 2023, will be delivered in April. Supplies are limited, so reserve your extra copies today!
Preparing for Medical Emergencies
Medical emergencies can happen at any time, even during worship, session meetings, or annual congregational meetings. Sessions and pastoral leaders should consider putting together protocols to explain to ushers and leaders of the congregation how to react if a medical emergency presents itself. Questions to consider and useful solutions have been articulated by PC(USA)’s Michael Kirk, General Counsel, and Kris Baker, Associate for Risk Management. The useful document been added to the “Resources for Congregations page of our website.
