July/August 2021 Newsletter
Hello Church Family!

It's summertime and we can gather together for worship on Sundays! Outdoors at 9:00 a.m. and in the sanctuary at 10:00 a.m. (reservations required) and also livestream on Facebook and YouTube at 10:00 a.m. How wonderful it is to see everyone again.

The folders are back on Fridays folding bulletins. I was filled with excitement on the first day they came back! How I have missed seeing them! Church groups can begin meeting in the building starting July 1 by reserving a room through the church office. Outside User Groups must wait a little longer to start meeting in the building. I'll be in touch!

First Presbyterian Church of Howard County continues to have activities through the summer months. Click on underlined links or buttons for more details about the events listed below.

Contact fpcadmin@firstpreshc.org with any questions or concerns.

Have a great month! Have a safe and happy fourth of July and summer!

Caring for Others

Our special request for July is Personal Dignity Products and in August is Paper the Town. Can you help?

The Deacons will be collecting school supplies for Running Brook Elementary School, Bridges to Housing Stability, and Luminus Network for New Americans (formerly FIRN) this year. Due to COVID-19 and limited access to the church building, we are having a hybrid collection- a combination of drive-up and in-person.

The “Green Page” will look at one sustainability topic each month, with ideas to consider and steps to use individually and as a congregation to care for and honor God’s amazing creation.
This month the topic is: Green Investing
